Print-astic!

Forget about your typical everyday denim, bust out your funkiest printed pants for this season!

If you showed me these selection of printed pants even a year ago, I dont think i would’ve been open to the idea of brocade printed pants (aka Granny pants in my mind)

But now i’m in LOVE! I want them all.

Fashion does this thing where they ease you up on certain trends and somehow you end up loving the thing you just hated (eg. UGGs). Reminds me of the times when I listen to the radio, sometimes when you hear that annoying song over and over and over again , it ends up on your ipod and the next thing you know, your jamming to the very song you hated a week ago! haha

I am so happy to announce that I have been nominated for the Liebster Blog Award! Your probably thinking, “That’s great but what is a Liebster Award?”

Well…the Liebster Award is bestowed to up and coming bloggers with less than 200 followers. There are no judges and each person nominated is a winner! It is an award that fellow bloggers nominate to each other to offer recognition and support.

Congrats to Laurenslook.com for winning the Liebster Award! I am also honoured that she nominated my blog as one of the 11 bloggers! In addition, there were 11 questions she asked to answer, so here we go!

1. Why do you blog? I blog because its something i use for my creative outlet and its kind of like a personal diary.. but for the public haha

2. List 5 of your favorite places to shop. 1. I love shopping at ANY thrift store 2. J.Crew 3. Forever 21 4. Online shopping (ASOS, PLNDR, GMARKET, AMAZON) 5. Korea (i know thats a cheap shot but half my clothes are from there and i just loooove korean clothes and how it fits to my frame)

3. 5 Blogs i follow 1. www.wendyslookbook.com 2. www.thechrisellefactor.com 3. www.jakandjil.com 4. www.youjustgotspotted.com 5. www.fellt.com

4. What are some of your hobbies, besides fashion? Im generally a care free person and tend to be open to everything. My hobbies can jump from knitting, to video games, and just lounging around watching a good movie.

5. What are your favorite fashion magazines and social media platforms? I used to subscribe to Vogue and NYLON, but overtime, i felt that the internet did a much better job at spotting trends faster than the press releases.

6. List 3 things you want to do/accomplish in life. 1. I hope to fulfill a business in fashion, specifically styling or something related to visuals. 2. I want to one day just pack up and venture to a country i've never been to. 3. I want to meet the man of my dreams (if such exist >.<) and start a healthy, loving family! (i know.. super cliche, but its the truth!)

7. If someone gave you $1000 just for being you, what would you spend it on? I would probably get a good camera and a laptop to start a youtube channel or something haha

8. Why do you like fashion? I like fashion because its something that changes so frequently. I dont see clothes as just clothes but as a way of representing who you really are inside. I personally dress the way I feel and it makes me feel good throughout the day.

9. What is your dream job? My dream job is to manage my own online shopping business to sell Korean clothes here in North America.

10. Who is the most stylish person you know? I would say that the top blogs i follow corresponds to my general fashion outlook and styling.

11. Share your favorite post of all time (from your own archives)

If i had to choose... it would be my scarf DIY Scarf Dress post. Its not the best one but i felt that i put my creativity and thought into the process of it. I felt it was a bit more original than my other posts :)

White Is The New Black!

Exams are FINALLY over and I can enjoy my summer break :)

All that goes through my mind at this point was how much shopping I want to do! This winter has been horrid and I feel the need to compensate by shopping for florals and hot pink anything For now, im sticking to the basics. White seems to be the trend at the moment. Always loved white because its simple and looks chic on almost any outfit.

Make up and its Wonders

Isn’t it amazing what makeup can do to a persons face? I love watching these videos sometimes to see what the final look would be. Kind of scary though knowing that alot of these girls look completely different without make up :S Especially in society today where cosmetic surgery is so common. I have nothing against it, i personally was considering it myself. In korea, its really common to have some sort of surgery done, usually prior to university or entering the workplace. It’s unfortunate to say but sometimes, Image is Everything.

I say that makeup “enhances our features” and girls should have fun with the face God gave them. But lets remember not to rely on our image alone and that beauty fades overtime

Vintage Overload

The number one quality university students all have in common is being broke. Spending money (we don’t have) on coffee, alcohol, food and ridiculous amounts on textbooks! All while juggling a minimum wage part time job.

For this reason, I resorted to thrifting a few years back and never regretted it since. I love finding one of a kind items, knowing that no one else in my generation could possibly have the same. I personally find it therapeutic and super fun (aside from the odd smell and old crazy women in the stores)

Thrifting ftw!!

Thrifted:
- Both Tops
- Oxfords

- Necklace from J.crew and Forever 21
