Exactly a week before Christmas! Can’t tell If I’m excited for it or not..I remember when i was little I used to look forward to Christmas with all the lights, the smell of pine, the boiling water for hot chocolate and the background noise of Christmas movies. But it feels like as we age, our level of spirit goes down 😦 I’ve been making some effort to bring back the Christmas cheer!
My one Christmas wish: God, please let it snow on Christmas!!
Sometimes I feel like our world is so consumed with materialistic things and people start to lose meaning of the true purpose of life (whatever that is). I know I’m privileged in so many ways. I have a healthy family and a group of wonderful friends, a home, i attend school blah blah blah.. but sometimes I can’t help but be ENVY those who have so much more. As shallow and materialistic as it sounds, isn’t that what ultimately validates our success? I don’t believe life is just about buying glamourous things and going to fancy places, because its not. But sometimes, its nice to just appreciate the things we have, and yes sometimes we envy the things that other people have as well, I mean, we are all human lol.
Just a preview of the city i live in. Sometimes i forget that there are so many interesting things in the city that i’ve never noticed even in past 17 yrs. Many times i just want to leave because it seems like there nothing else for me here, but in the end, it is my home, and it makes my day a little better when i catch moments like this.
I’ve been pretty obsessed lately with my Social media… especially pinterest and instagram (almost better than facebook??)

I know I am, ever have those moments where every problem possible seem to be concentrated within a week or a whole month?? With all the exams/work/self/future/friends/boy problems I can’t seem to organize my thoughts…
I’ve listed a few random things that could probably make me feel better, hopefully it’ll help anyone else thats stressed as well
1. SHOP LIKE A MAD WOMAN
(probably a terrible idea, but its not bad to splurge a little )
2. BUBBLE BATH
(or any alone time. Reading a book, listening to music, meditating, anything to keep you calm)
(sometimes it just does the trick)

5. SMOKE UP.
(sometimes you just need it…)
6. FAST FOOD!!
(I would love a big mac combo right about now)
7. WATCH “NEW GIRL”
(honestly one of the best shows ever lol)
8. WINE AND CHEESE
(one of my favourite remedies)
